2019 is nearing completion and people are gearing up to welcome 2020 in style and in a spectacular manner. However heat is on as X Mas war is intensifying at the box office in Tollywood resembling a jigjaw puzzle.
Filmmakers are lining up their films for X Mas weekend with the hope that if they get hit talk, they can mint money till the Sankranti season next year.
As such Suresh Babu too delayed his prestigious multi starrer Venky Mama featuring Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya. He is now planning to release the film during X Mas going back on the earlier planned release of Dec 13. But finally, they decided to release the film either on Jan 10 or Jan 14 entering the sankranti race along with Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.
Already Balakrishna is set to show his power turning Ruler on Dec 20. Even Sai Dharam Tej who is fresh from his decent hit Chitralahari is getting ready to entertain on the same day with Prati Roju Pandaage. Apart from it, Karthi who scored a hit with Khaidi is now planning to show his power once again turning Donga on the same day.
Suresh Babu in the meanwhile is raring to take them all singlehandedly by releasing Salman Khan's much-awaited Bollywood film Dabangg 3. Since the majority of the theatres are in the hands of Suresh Babu, expectations are high on Dabangg 3 collections.
But all these films should lock horns with Hollywood entertainer Star Wars: The Rise of Sky Walker. Star Wars series has movie lovers across the world. Suspense is on about Venky Mama as the makers asked the US distributors to get ready for Dec 24 overseas premiers and so Venky Mama would release on Dec 25.
However, if Venky Mama does not arrive during X Mas, Raj Tharun is keen to test his luck with the romantic entertainer Iddari Lokam Okate. For the present, X Mas war resembles a jigsaw puzzle that may unravel many more surprises in the coming days.
