Words are not enough to sing praises of the sacrifices of the armed forces especially at the borders or pay floral tributes to them. One cannot find words to describe the valor of the armed forces especially in the Kashmir and the Pakistani border. That is the reason why people respect and revere the armed forces.
Currently Tollywood is bracing for films with armed forces backdrop. Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya's Venky Mama is releasing on Dec 13 and Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru is releasing during sankranti next year.
Inside talk is Naga Chaitanya's role in Venky Mama is completely in the Army backdrop. While initially Chaitu does comedy with his uncle Venky Mama, his role will be serious and emotional once he becomes Army captain. Chaitu is set to show his power as Captain Karthik in the film.
In Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh is playing the role of Army Major Ajay Krishna. The film has hilarious comedy in Army backdrop. The moment one thinks of Army based stories, one remembers Uri and Vicky Kaushal's powerful performance. Earlier Vijay showed his power as Captain Jagadeesh in Tupaki. Now movie lovers are excited to see how Chaitu and Mahesh played the roles of Army officers.
The makers should realize that people do not tolerate if they demean Army Officers in the name of fun and entertainment even on screen. Let's hope the makers have taken due care to elevate the roles of Naga Chaitanya and Mahesh Babu and their heroics in the Army avatar.
