The upcoming entertainer George Reddy directed by Jeevan Reddy is landing in numerous controversies. The film is slated for a grand release on Nov 22nd and recently the makers planned to organize the pre release event in a grand manner inviting Power Star Pawan Kalyan as a chief guest. But police shocked the makers by denying them permission.
Various analyses came out that Telangana CM KCR got scared with Pawan Kalyan attending the event and thus the authorities denied permission for the event. The makers said police denied permission on the grounds that they cannot control Pawan Kalyan fans if the power star comes to the event.
In the meantime, ABVP leaders are protesting against George Reddy release. It is known that the film George Reddy is a biopic on student leader George Reddy, renowned as Osmania Che Guevara, Gold Medalist in Physics and a boxer.
ABVP leaders are opposing the film's release alleging that the makers are showing ABVP students as rowdies in the film and warned that they will not tolerate any such distortion. They said George Reddy has 15 criminal cases on him and the makers should show his rowdyism on screen. They pointed out that court longtime back ruled that ABVP leaders had no hand in the murder of George Reddy.
Director Jeevan Reddy, however, said they are not targeting anyone in George Reddy and are only highlighting the real-life happenings. Jeevan Reddy earlier came with Dalam, a film with communists’ backdrop.
George Reddy stars Sandeep Madhav in the lead role and the trailers generated tremendous interest among movie lovers.
