Can Mahesh Fit to Pan India with Action?

It's now turned almost official! Prince Mahesh Babu, who thought of working with Vamsi Pydipally till some days ago, has got his plans instantly changed and is set to team up with KGF director Prashanth Neel. 

Speculations have been rife that it's going to be a multi-lingual film with pan Indian appeal. Needless to say, it's going to be a complete action entertainer. However, the million dollar question is that how well Bollywood audience will receive Mahesh Babu as an action hero. 

As we all know, Young Rebel Star Prabhas's action based films Baahubali, Baahubali 2 and Saaho turned out to be money spinners at Bollywood box office. It seems Mahesh Babu has also contemplated to repeat Prabhas magic in Bollywood. Nevertheless, given his too handsome looks, fans and movie analysts felt Mahesh Babu would fit more as a romantic hero in Bollywood than an action hero. In such case, it remains to be seen how well Mahesh Babu suits to Bollywood audience as an action hero. 

Currently, Mahesh Babu is working for Tollywood's highly anticipated film Sarileru Neekevvaru under Anil Ravipudi's direction. Rashmika Mandanna is seen opposite to him while Devi Sri Prasad provides tunes. Dil Raju and Anil Sunkara are bankrolling the project. The film heads for Sankranthi release.
