YCP Big Mistake! Jagan Rectified After Criticism

In a hasty move, Ysrcp indulged in a big blunder which received a huge criticism in social media. Having faced the wrath from all corners, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ensured the blunder is rectified immediately. 

The AP government presents APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar awards to those meritorious students who excel in SSC public examinations. The students are given away a trophy, certificate and scholarship for higher education under Pratibha puraskar. 

However, the AP government changed the name as YSR Vidya Puraskar and released a G.O. as well. Within no time, netizens started expressing their concern over the change of the award's name. They trended the hashtag, #YsrcpInsultsAPJAbdulKalam on net. 

On the other hand, TDP cheif Chandrababu Naidu tweeted, @ysjagan's govt changing ''APJ Abdul Kalam Pratibha Puraskar'' to ''YSR Vidya Puraskar'' is a shocking method of self-aggrandizement at the cost of disrespecting a much venerated man."

Finally, YS Jagan ordered the officials to withdraw the G.O. and to get Abdul Kalam's name retained in the awards.
