NTR Shattered His Dream, Moves To 83

Very few people know that, it was Vishnu Induri who proposed Nandamuri Balakrishna to make Ntr Biopic. It was his dream project for long. He alone wanted to produce the film, but Balakrishna put a proposal to co-produce the film in association with his friend Sai Korrapati. Vishnu who felt it was an honor to make Ntr Biopic had obliged to it. However, the project was promoted as Balakrishna’s dream project.

After Teja walked out, Krish had stepped in to direct Ntr Biopic. Actually Teja did not like too much involvement of Balakrishna in the script writing and also his recommendation of making the film in two parts, to equally emphasize film and political life of NTR.

More than anybody else, Vishnu Induri pinned many hopes on Ntr Biopic. He thought the second part- NTR Mahanayakudu will shine at box office, besides winning applause from critics. Unfortunately, the film received mixed to negative response and got disaster talk in its first weekend itself.

Shocked and saddened with the end result of Ntr Biopic, Vishnu Induri has now moved to his next big project. He is now focusing on 83 The Film, which is based on India's win in 1983 Cricket World Cup. 

Kabir Khan who will direct the film will also co-produce in collaboration with Vishnu and Madhu Mantena. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem and Chirag Patil reprising the India national cricket team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup.

Currently, Vishnu along with his team is busy with pre-production work. Major shooting of the film will start in England in May 2019. The film was initially announced to be released on 5 April 2019 but later postponed to 30 August 2019. The release date was further pushed back to 10 April 2020 due to delay in pre production process.

Let’s hope Vishnu Induri will score his first success as producer with his other dream project 83 The Film.
