Young Tiger NTR's Jai Lava Kusa reportedly collected a genuine share of Rs.38 crores at the end of its three days run world wide. Since the movie has done a pre release business of around Rs.83+ crores, the film needs Rs.85 crores theatrical share to be treated as a hit.
Going by the ongoing trends, it would be a Herculean task for the film to reach break even. In spite of it being the first Sunday today, the movie registered no full houses at RTC X Roads during 1st show including main theater which is worrying the exhibitors. Although, there will be three more days left Spyder to hit screens, the movie was lifted in some of the screens today and will be lifted from few more screens tomorrow.
Spyder, on the other hand, is all set for a grand release across India and Overseas on September 27. Unless Jai Lava Kusa will have an extraordinary run for three more weeks with outstanding collections, the movie may not reach break even. However, buyers and fans are hoping that the film would get the profits in style.
