As Expected, Mudragada's Padayatra Intercepted

As expected earlier, the AP government used its police force to intercept Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham's padayatra today. Mudragada, in fact, has got last minute permission from the AP high court for his Padayatra which was supposed to be started from Ravulapalem. 

The police intercepted Mudragada Padmanabham and placed him under house arrest for 48 hours. Mudragada said the proposed padayatra was postponed and  he would start it soon he gets released after 48 hours by the police.

Mudragada's house arrest, however, hasn't gone down well with the kapu leaders and activists of East Godavari as such the tense situation in the district heightened. Meanwhile, the government's monopolistic decisions on suppressing Kapu movement has been viewed as a suicidal attempts by the government. "It may pay pay for its blunders during general elections," opined the analysts.
