None of his films scored hits and he stood as care of address for disastrous flops. Yet, he is well appreciated for stylish making. The director here is Meher Ramesh who arrived yesterday with Victory Venkatesh, Taapsee starrer ‘Shadow’. Meher is undoubtedly a superb maker but his films failed at BO because of poor content and lack of entertainment. He took the help of ace writers Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat in writing the script of Shadow. Audience expected minimum entertainment from these star writers, but shockingly there is nothing fresh in 'Shadow' which will no way stand at BO.
Story is not new and the screenplay is pathetic. Meher succeeded in his mark of showing his hero Venky stylish but not even 10 minutes of the total film is bearable. Audience who watched the film are still in shock and raising doubts on how hero Venkatesh and producer Paruchuri Shiva Ramakrishna could accept this kind of a film. Shadow was made with around Rs. 24 crores budget and as per the trade analysts the movie will provide heavy losses to producer. New producers who are willing to make movies are feared of Meher and keeping far away from him.
