Litmus Test to Nag

Having proved himself as a romantic hero of tollywood, Nagarjuna has also acquired the credit of best performer in devotional roles such as 'Annamayya' and 'Sriramadasu'. Both of those movies were proved to be the money spinners at the box office. Nagarjuna played the roles of devotees in these films. For the first time in his career, Nagarjuna is playing the  role of a god in 'Shirdi Sai'. Among his contemporary heroes, Chiranjeevi's 'Srimanjunadha' stood as an average grosser at the box office, where Chiru played the title role of the movie. Other heroes too, couldn't get success in mythological or 'God' roles. So, it is going to be the litmus test for Nagarjuna whether he gets success through 'Shirdi Sai' or not.

Srikanth, Srihari, Kamalini Mukherji are doing the main leads of this devotional flick. Keeravani has given the music of this film. K.Raghavendra Rao has directed it. Mahesh Reddy has produced this movie under Saikrupa Entertainments. The movie is hitting the screens on 6th September.
