In a historic development, Allu Arjun has reportedly bagged a front-end deal of ₹175 crore for his upcoming project with director Atlee and Sun Pictures. This deal is touted as modern Indian cinema's biggest front-end deal, and will see Arjun dedicate major dates to the film from August 2025 onward. The superstar has also locked a "backend deal of 15 percent stake in profits," according to the report. Tentatively titled A6, the film is a high-budget project that promises to be a game-changer in the Indian film industry.
The pre-production of A6 is in full swing, and the cast and crew will be announced in the next two months. The film will be heavy on VFX as Atlee wants to design a unique world with political and dramatic elements. An insider revealed that despite the newness in visuals, the screenplay will have all the elements of a quintessential Atlee film, including a strong introduction block, elevation points, and masala elements. With Atlee's direction and Arjun's acting prowess, A6 is expected to be a blockbuster hit.
After the success of Pushpa 2, Arjun was inundated with offers from different industries. However, he opted for Atlee's A6 as his next project because of its potential global appeal. The insider revealed that after a success like Pushpa, it's essential to follow up with the right film to consolidate the position. A6 is the perfect project for Allu to up the stakes further and cement his position as a pan-Indian superstar.
Along with A6, Arjun will also work on a film with director Trivikram, which will go on floors in the second half of 2026. A6's production timeline is from August to October 2025, depending on how long pre-production takes. With two exciting projects in the pipeline, Allu Arjun is set to take the Indian film industry by storm.
