Dhruva Natchathiram Telugu distribution rights sold for decent amount. Vikram-Gautam Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram Chapter 1 Yudhdha Kaandam is releasing on 24 November after a long delay. In the meantime, reports are coming that the distribution rights of Telugu version got decent amount.

Despite Tamil star Vikram facing a lukewarm response from the Telugu audience with his recent films like 'Cobra,' 'Mister KK,' and 'Swamy Square,' producer-director Gautam Menon has reportedly struck a lucrative deal, pocketing Rs 7 crores from distributors in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. A source reveals that the Telugu dubbed version of their spy thriller collaboration is valued at Rs 7 crore, comprising a mix of outright and distribution deals, making it a noteworthy sum for a Vikram movie in the current scenario.

Vikram, once celebrated as a versatile actor in Telugu states after the success of dubbed movies like 'Sivapruthudu,' 'Aparachitudu,' and 'I,' showcased his acting brilliance in diverse roles. From portraying a burial guard in 'Sivaputrudu' to an upright lawyer turned vigilante in 'Aparachitudu' and a model-turned-killer in Shankar's 'I,' Vikram's versatility was widely applauded. While his recent films 'Sketch' and 'Inkokkadu' faced challenges in Telugu states, Vikram aims to make a comeback with the success of 'Ponniyin Selvan,' where he portrayed the role of King Karikalan with finesse.

Vikram's ratings took a hit after the lukewarm reception of some films, and competitors like Suriya, Vijay, and Karthi gained prominence. Banking on his upcoming film 'Thangalan,' Vikram is eager to break his jinx in the Telugu market and revive his winning streak. In contrast, colleagues like Rajnikanth and Vijay have recently made a significant impact on the Telugu box office, collectively earning over Rs 45 crores. Recognizing the current success of Tamil films in the Telugu market, Vikram is strategically aiming for a massive hit to regain his standing, concludes the source.
