TDP flexes muscles at Mahanadu

TDP shows its strength with Mahanadu, the party's annual conclave. This year, Mahanadu is celebrated for two days on 27 and 28 May 2023 at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. As the Mahanadu is held with less than a year before the 2024 general elections, all eyes are on TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu's speech and whether he will give some insights about the party's strategies for the upcoming elections.

Former CM Chandra Babu Naidu during the inaugural speech branded the current government headed by Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP as Kaurava Rajyam and vowed to defeat it in the next elections and promised to turn AP into the number one state once he comes to power. He is expected to release the party manifesto at the end of the meeting.

Chandra Babu's son Nara Lokesh energized the cadre with his speech. He took potshots at the Jagan government and branded him as a psycho. He paid tributes to Sr NTR and showered praises saying while NTR had history, Chandra Babu has calibre. He added that NTR showed the power of the Telugu people in Delhi. He said NTR implemented many welfare schemes for the benefit of the poo. He said while Chandra Babu makes Telugu people raise their heads with pride, Jagan makes Telugu people hang their heads in shame.

Balakrishna showered praises on his father Sr NTR and said a person like NTR is a rarity in the world. He sang praises of his achievements in the film industry and political arena. He then attacked CM Jagan and YSRCP rule saying there is no development in the state and all the industries are leaving the state.

Chandra Babu Naidu concluding the Mahanadu paid floral tributes to Sr NTR. He said NTR is the only person who lives in the hearts of all Telugu people. He said NTR got tributes even across the world on his birth anniversary. He then remembered the TDP leaders who lost their lives starting from Taraka Ratna. Chandra Babu spoke about how he developed the state using his strategies and the use of technology. He highlighted how he undertook developmental schemes even in the divided state of Andhra Pradesh.

Chandra Babu added that TDP is the party for the poor. He spoke about Amaravathi and how farmers came forward to part their lands for the capital city. He spoke about Polavaram and the integration of rivers. He said the current psycho role is to put AP in the reverse mode. He fired on all cylinders on CM Jagan and Jagan is fighting for the cash of the people to loot them and build palaces.  He spoke about Mahashakti for women, Intintiki Neeru for farmers, Adabidda Nidhi for mothers and girl children till 18 years, Talliki Vandanam for children, three free cylinders for all, free travel for women, promises jobs and till then stipend for jobless people. 

Chandra Babu Naidu speaking about the TDP manifesto said his manifesto promises a 'Future Guarantee'. He said he will undertake programs to show the power of the youth of AP once again to the world. He spoke about farmers and promised to take care of the farmers. He promised to concentrate on wealth creation, and generation and then distribution to the people. He said Jagan is done and dusted and only TDP will come to power. He thrilled everyone talking about Balakrishna's dialogue from Gautami Putra Satakarni saying 'Samayam Ledo Mitrama'. He asked all to get ready for the Kurukshetra war.
