Reason behind KCR going all out against YS Sharmila

When the Telangana police arrested AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister, YSRCP (Telangana) chief YS Sharmila in Chennaraopet Mandal in Narasampet, people got surprised. This is because Sharmila is not a known force and her party YSRTP is not having much following in Telangana. She is trying her best to remain in the media limelight by going on a padayatra.

However, the ruling TRS party is taking it seriously instead of ignoring her. Even earlier TRS Ministers lashed out at Sharmila abusing her personally. People are left wondering why is Kcr going all out against YS Sharmila and why did he order the arrest of Sharmila.

Many feel, Kcr will not do anything if he doesn't see political mileage. Currently, Kcr is facing a serious threat in form of an aggressive BJP. After Kcr targeted BJP central leadership directly and indirectly launching an attack on PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, he and his government started facing the heat as ED and IT officials started conducting raids on various TRS leaders and ministers.

Kcr decided to ignore BJP for some time and inorder to send signals that he is serious on various issues to the people, targeted YS Sharmila. Since Sharmila is a soft target, she couldn't do anything but the people get deviated. To the top of it, Kcr seems to be keen to strengthen Sharmila's YSRCP to counter BJP's surge in Telangana, the same way he did when he strengthened BJP to decimate the Congress. it has to be seen how successful Kcr will be in his attempts.
