Harish Rao condemns Seemandhra leaders' provocative statement

Telangana Rashtra Samithi deputy floor leader T Harish Rao on Wednesday condemned the Seemandhra leaders for issuing provocative statements.

Speaking to media persons at Assembly's media point here, Harish Rao strongly condemned TDP MLA Linga Reddy for allegedly threatening to set Parliament building ablaze if Telangana Bill was passed. "There is no difference between Seemandhra leaders and terrorists," he alleged.

Harish Rao said that those who attacked Parliament have been hanged and similarly, those are threatening to set the Parliament ablaze should be dealt with seriously. He demanded as to why DGP B Prasada Rao was silent on Linga Reddy's statement. He said the State Police booked a suo motto case when Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar made a statement against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. However, the police are silent when a Seemandhra leader was threatening to execute a terrorist attack, he alleged.

The TRS leader demanded that the government file a case against the Seemandhra leaders who are issuing provocative statements.
