Naidu will not withdraw T-letter: Errabelli

TDP Telangana Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday claimed that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu would not change his stand on the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Errabelli admitted that Naidu was under immense pressure from the Seemandhra leaders in the party to withdraw the letter that he gave in favour of formation of Telangana State. However, he said that Naidu would not withdraw the letter at any cost. A decision to this effect was also taken during the meeting organised by the TDP Telangana leaders at the party headquarters NTR Trust Bhavan on Tuesday morning, he said.

Errabelli also condemned the TDP Seemandhra leaders for meeting President Pranab Mukherjee seeking united Andhra Pradesh. He said that the leaders from Telangana region too wanted to meet the President during his visit to the city. However, the request was declined by the President’s Secretariat. He said that the TDP Telangana leaders were now planning to visit Delhi to meet the President to request him to hasten up the process of formation of Telangana State.
