Kriti Sanon shares how she became an actor. Kriti Sanon made her debut with 1-Nenokkadine opposite Mahesh Babu and then went on to play the most coveted role Goddess Sita in Prabhas' AdiPurush.
She speaking to scribes, shared her inspiration to become an actor. She said she never thought of becoming a model but when few of those who saw her encouraged her to test her luck, she entered into modeling.
She shared her father asked her to concentrate on studies as modeling will be a distraction and impact her studies. However, her mom encouraged her and after few TV commercials she got confidence that she can act and become an actor.
She said from then on she started dreaming to become an actor and revealed that modeling inspired her to become an actor. 1: Nenokkadine earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her career progressed with starring roles in the commercially successful romantic comedies Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) and Luka Chuppi (2019), and her highest-grossing releases came with the ensemble comedies Dilwale (2015) and Housefull 4 (2019).
Sanon won the National Film Award and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in the title role of a surrogate mother in the comedy-drama Mimi (2021).
