Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Etala Rajender on Tuesday said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy lost moral right to continue in office.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, Etala said that the Chief Minister was making statements on bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh purely due to his ignorance of laws and established procedures. He said that the Central Government had all powers to create a new State. Therefore, by stating that he would stop the formation of Telangana, the Chief Minister was challenging the authority of the Central Government. Etala also slammed the other political parties for taking a U-turn on Telangana issue. He said that the parties who spoke about resolution of problems being faced by the Telangana people have turned mute on these issues after the announcement of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He said that non-completion of on-going projects and delay in starting new projects has caused huge financial loss to the people of Telangana. The non-setting up of new power projects in the region has also caused loss of employment opportunities for the local youth.
