Bjp senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party alone would win more than 200 seats in the next elections.
Addressing a press conference here, Venkaiah Naidu said that while the Bjp would improve its tally, the allies of National Democratic Alliance would also show a better performance to form the government at the Centre. He slammed the Congress and other parties for trying to target the Bjp for projecting Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as its Prime Ministerial candidate. He said there were at least 12 Prime Ministerial candidates in the Bjp and the final decision on the same would be taken later. He said Modi's candidature was neither finalised nor discussed by the party.
Venkaiah Naidu also hoped that the Bjp will return to power in Karnataka. Stating that people across the country were tired of Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre and the same sentiments will help the Bjp in Karnataka elections.
The Bjp leader reiterated that his party would form Telangana when it comes to power after 2014 elections.
