TRS MLAs Meet Home Minister

A delegation of Trs MLAs today met  Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and complained about the police harassment of people living in Mahbubnagar border villages in wake of the February 24 Sadak bandh (highway blocade).

Police have been harassing the locals residing in the border villages as TJAC has given a call to block the Hyderabad Bengaluru highway as part of the agitation demanding quick decision on Telangana, they said in the memorandum submitted to her.

After a patient hearing the Home Minister assured the delegation that she would talk to the Chief Minister in this regard later in the day on the issue. 

The delegation was led by Trs floor leader Eetela Ranjedner, T Harish Rao, Harishwar Reddy, E Ravinder Reddy, Sammaiah, Odelu, Jupalli Krishna Rao and others.
