There have been tremendous political comparisons between Chiranjeevi and Vijaykanth who have started their own Parties as best alternative to existing TDP, Congress and DMK, AIADMK in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu respectively. Although Chiranjeevi is Numero Uno actor wise, same is not the case with Vijaykanth.
Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) is the Party established by Vijaykanth in 2005 has won just one Assembly seat in 2006 elections. Yet Vijaykanth worked constructively till 2011 elections wherein he allied with Jayalalitha’s AIADMK which is to get into power with superb majority. By this Vijaykanth was successful in winning 29 seats in this elections, a superb increase of 28 seats in a gap of just single election. On the other side, position of Chiranjeevi and Praja Rajyam Party is very much known to our Telugu voters.
‘This is the victory of people and party cadres,’ said Vijaykanth confirming that he would not be demanding a share in power from AIADMK in the next government. Clear that Chiru can learn too many political lessons from ‘Leader’ Vijaykanth.
