Narendra Modi and his cabinet ministers watch The Sabarmati Report. PM Modi and his cabinet ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah and JP Nadda watched The Sabarmati Report at the Parliament Complex's library at 4 pm. Later PM Modi,showered praises on the makers for bringing the truth in front of the public.
Sharing his thoughts and feelings on social media and posting the picture of him along with his ministers and the film's cast and crew, he posted "Joined fellow NDA MPs at a screening of 'The Sabarmati Report.' I commend the makers of the film for their effort,"
The film is based on the events in the leadup to the 2002 Godhra train tragedy. Along with the PM Modi and the union ministers, film's cast and crew who watched the film included Vikrant Massey and actor Riddhi Dogra, film producer Ekta Kapoor, director Dheeraj Sarna.
Vikrant Massey sharing his thoughts said "It was altogether a different experience to watch the film with the Prime Minister. The Defence Minister and the Home Minister were also there. I am not able to express my experience in words as I am happy that I was able to watch the film along with the PM... Watching the movie with PM Modi was the highest point of my career."
The film which was released on 15 November got tax exemption from BJP ruled states Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana.
