KCR contesting elections to grab farmlands. TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy, in a scathing critique on Tuesday, leveled accusations against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, alleging a nefarious plan to acquire farmers' lands as the driving force behind his decision to contest from the Kamareddy seat.

Addressing a campaign meeting in Kamareddy, where he is pitted against the Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy asserted, "Under the guise of a new master plan in Kamareddy municipality, KCR attempted to seize farmers' lands. Faced with vehement opposition from the farming community, he temporarily shelved the proposal." He said 'KCR is a mandating animal"

Campaigning earlier in the day at Station Ghanpur in support of Singapuram Indira and in Wardhannapet for K.R. Nagaraju, Revanth Reddy continued his vocal critique. In corner meetings held in Reddypet, Isaipet, Fareedpet, Machareddy, and Palvancha villages, he accused Rao of encroaching on the lands of economically disadvantaged families. "The Congress high command has tasked me with challenging KCR. With your support, we can oust KCR from Kamareddy," he declared.

Highlighting KCR's 40-year tenure, Revanth Reddy pointed out the Chief Minister's apparent neglect of his ancestral Konapur village in Kamareddy Assembly constituency. "Congress is poised to end KCR's political journey from Konapur itself. KCR has deceived various sections of the population, especially unemployed youth. The resolution of people's problems hinges on removing KCR from power," he asserted.

Drawing attention to the disparities in the agricultural sector, Revanth Reddy underscored the plight of farmers unable to fetch reasonable prices for their produce, juxtaposed with the elevated prices obtained for paddy from Rao's own farm. "I challenge KCR to swear at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple if my allegations are unfounded," he challenged.

Emphasizing the Congress's commitment to gender representation, he cited the party's nomination of 12 women when the BRS government had nominated six. Criticizing the BRS government's handling of the M. Pravallika suicide case, Revanth Reddy contrasted Congress's efforts with those of its political counterparts.

Describing the upcoming elections as a choice between the "police" (Congress) and "thieves" (BRS and BJP), Revanth Reddy urged the electorate to decide which side to support and which party to empower. He questioned the credibility of BRS leaders T. Rajaiah and K. Srihari, whom KCR had removed as Deputy Chief Ministers, casting doubt on their trustworthiness.

Accusing BRS MLA Aroori Ramesh of land grabbing under the guise of land pooling in Wardhannapet, Revanth Reddy pledged to address the issue if Congress formed the government. He concluded with a metaphorical comparison, stating, "Just as Sisupala in Mahabharata met his end after committing 100 mistakes, CM KCR has completed his centennial of errors, and it is time to rid ourselves of him in the upcoming Assembly elections."
