Kamal Haasan about Rajnikanth and Maniratnam projects

Kamal Haasan is currently busy with his Indian 2 along with the production of two films in his banner Raj Kamal Fms International with Siva Kartikeyan and Simbu. Kamal recently went to UAE for Nexa IIFA 2023 Awards event. He is conferred with Outstanding Achievement Award. In a press conference held at Abudhabi Kamal shared many interesting things about his ongoing and upcoming projects. 

He said that talks happened to produce a film with Superstar Rajinikanth under Kamal's banner Raj Kamal. This film is to be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who earlier delivered the massive hit Vikram with Kamal Haasan. Reports suggest that the final clarity about this project will be out in a couple of months as Kamal, Rajini, and Lokesh are busy with their ongoing projects. 

Kamal Haasan also spoke about his film with Maniratnam which is tentatively titled KH234.  The official announcement was made on the occasion of Kamal Haasan's last birthday, and the film's shooting has yet to commence. Kamal Haasan has now opened up about his film with Mani Ratnam in his latest media interaction. Kamal Haasan shared that he is discussing the film's development with Mani Ratnam and that fans' expectations for the film are making them feel a little nervous. However, Kamal further added that they are both hoping to come up with a strong film, just like their first collaboration, 'Nayakan'.

The shooting of #KH234 will commence in two or three months. Earlier, Trisha was said to be playing the female lead opposite Kamal Haasan, but there has been no official word about it. Trisha earlier worked together with Kamal Haasan in the films Manmadhan Ambu and Thoongavanam, and it will be the actress's third film with Kamal Haasan if she is roped in for 'KH 234'.
