Teja says Ustaad Bhagat Singh will be a blockbuster. Director Teja is tough to please and is known as a tough taskmaster. He always does films only with the new and upcoming heroes and says he is comfortable working with them as celebrity actors show tantrums and try to dictate terms to him which he cannot accept.

Teja is directing Abhiram's Ahimsa which is releasing on 2 June 2023. Now speaking to scribes, when asked if given a chance what kind of project and story will he do with Power Star Pawan Kalyan, for his style, stardom, and attitude, he said he loved Pawan Kalyan's upcoming project Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

He said the recently released Ustaad Bhagat Singh's first glimpse showed Pawan Kalyan in a powerful manner. He said one should show Pawan Kalyan in this manner. He said Ustaad Bhagat Singh will be a blockbuster. Hearing Teja's words, director Harish Shankar is over the moon and thanked Teja for his compliments.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is the remake of the Tamil hit Theri and stars Sree Leela as the heroine and  Ashutosh Rana, Gauthami, Naga Mahesh, and Temper Vamsi in key roles. Music is tuned by Devi Sri Prasad.
