Mem Famous Two Days Collections

Popular YouTube content provider Chai Bisket Films which ventured into movies along with Lahari Films made Writer Padmabhushan their first film. Now they produced Mem. Famous with all newcomers as their second venture. The film was released last Friday and fetched decent word of mouth. The film. maintains steady collections on its second day too.

Sumanth Prabhas who played the lead role also made his directorial debut with the movie produced by Anurag Reddy, Sharath, and Chandru Manoharan. The movie collected a gross of Rs 1.10 Cr on its first day worldwide. Maintaining the same momentum, it has added another Rs 1.15 Cr on its second day taking the total to Rs 2.25 Cr in two days.

This is a good number since the movie is made on a limited budget and features mostly newcomers. Good promotions played a crucial role in bringing the attention of the audience. The team has screened a free show for everyone at Gokul Theatre, Hyderabad. 

Mem Famous is primarily targeted to the youth audience and it clicked to an extent with that section of the audience. Makers are hoping that the youth vibe in it will bring them to the theatres and the summer holidays will help in getting good numbers in the coming week.
