Mem Famous Collected 1.10 Cr On First Day

After the successful Writer Padmabhushan, Chai Bisket Films and Lahari Films came up with their second joint production Mem Famous. Sumanth Prabhas who played the lead role also made his directorial debut with the movie produced by Anurag Reddy, Sharath, and Chandru Manoharan.

Mem Famous was released on Friday, 26th May and the movie opened to good numbers considering its limited budget. It collected a gross of Rs 1.10 Cr on its first day worldwide.

As the film is made with a shoe-string budget with all newcomers and also shot in real locations, Rs 1 Crore is a decent number. The film is being promoted aggressively and will continue to do so, the weekend will fetch good numbers. The youth vibe in it is bringing youth audience to the theatres. 

Summer holidays and open ground will help the film to recover the expenses. We can expect the movie to have a good hold in its first week run.
