Chiranjeevi Sensation with Track Record

As there, inevitably, was a huge gap of 10 years staying away from Tollywood, it was predicted by some analysts that Megastar Chiranjeevi can't continue the same momentum and rage in films as he had before joining politics. 

Proving all such predictions wrong, the Megastar delivered a non-Baahubali industry hit with his reentry film Khaidi Number 150. The film collected a share of Rs.105 crore and the gross Rs.165 crore then. And then, Chiranjeevi's period drama Sye Narasimha Reddy scored another huge hit in Telugu states, though the film couldn't do well in other language versions. Whatsoever, the film succeeded in scoring close to Rs.150 crore worldwide share and Rs.240 crore gross. 

Sadly, director Koratala Siva couldn't make use of the dream combo Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan with Acharya. The film stood as a huge disaster at the box office. Chiranjeevi struck back with Godfather with a decent success. The movie minted around Rs.60 crore share. 

And now, Waltair Veerayya's reverberating success is making every mega fan proud. The movie has accumulated Rs.140 crore worldwide share and close to Rs.240 crore worldwide gross. 

On the whole, Chiranjeevi scored two clean blockbusters KN 150 and WV in his reentry. As far as Telugu states are concerned Sye Raa shall also be considered a blockbuster. Godfather can be treated as a decent venture. The one and only disaster for Chiranjeevi in his reentry is 'Acharya'. This is an unbelievable success track record for any other hero. 

There is a slogan when we speak about Chiranjeevi. 'OORIKE MEGASTAR AYIPORU'. And Chiranjeevi proved the slogan right in his style with his reentry.
