There is a tension in Telugu Film Industry regarding Sankranthi Releases. It is known that Megastar Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya and Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy are Telugu films while Varisu Vaarasudu starring Thalapathy Vijay and Thunivu Thegimpu starring Thala Ajith Kumar are dubbing films. Among there both the Telugu films are produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Vijay's Varasudu is produced by Dil Raju. We are well aware that Dil Raju is a popular Producer and a leading distributor who has good hold on theatres in both Telugu states.

On this situation, Telugu Film Producers Council has issued a statement that only Telugu films should be given important during festival dates and dubbed films need to be stopped. One of the top producers Suresh Babu held a media interaction about Narappa Release in theatres for one day on the occasion of Victory Vekatesh's birthday on December 13. When asked about this ongoing issue, Suresh Babu said, It is not possible to stop dubbing films now-a-days,  All kinds of film will have a good run during Sankranthi.

Suresh Babu also said that the boundaries of a Telugu film are erased. It is being celebrated in all languages. He recalled during the release of RRR in Chennai, they also have some issues but provided large no of screens for RRR. If the film is good it will occupy many theatres or it will be removed from initial theatres also. This is a business. Those who has confidence about a film, they will provide more screens. They don't see which language it is. Our Telugu film is also getting importance in other languages and becoming successful.

With this statement Suresh Babu made it clear that Cinema is a business and everyone wants to bet on the winning horse only irrespective of language.
