Gold Movie Is All Set To Strike Gold At The Box-office

After month of anticipation and skipping several release dates, Premam director Alphonse Puthren's next GOLD starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara is finally announced to release on December 1st.

The makers of Gold came under fire on the internet after they failed to release the movie on the date which was announced for Onam festival, but Alphonse thought that the film was not ready for release as there is some work to be done in CG, colouring and music. Given that Gold is his first directorial work to release in the last seven years, Alphonse seems to want it to be perfect.

The film has not released much promotional material. A small glimpse was released earlier this year along with a poster with all characters in it and that's it. Not much posters are released so far. The makers even announced that they will not be releasing any teasers and trailers for the film.

But, still the film is carrying very good buzz and the advance bookings are terrific. Gold is expected to open big both in Malayalam and Tamil languages. Prithviraj has also co-produced it. The film also stars Ajmal Ameer, Krishna Sankar, Shabareesh Varma, Chemban, Vinod Jose, Vinay Forrt and Roshan Mathew in the supporting cast.
