Who’s This Priya In Director’s Life?

People in the film industry have lot of sentiments and they follow them religiously if they taste success with it. Director Vikram Kumar who entertained with films like 13 B, Ishq and Manam too follows a sentiment. In all his films, the female lead is named as Priya.

In the recent entertainer Gang Leader starring Nani and Priyanka, he followed the same sentiment. Many often wondered the reason behind his sentiment and tried to find it out. Some say Vikram Kumar had a love story and his girlfriend's name was Priya. But Vikram maintained secrecy over it.

During Gang Leader promos, many tried to find out the secret. Though Vikram opened a little bit, he still maintained secrecy over it. He confessed that he has a deep personal connection with Priya's name but made clear that he cannot reveal it.

Nani tried explaining saying Priya is not the name of Vikram's wife and he tried to find out the secret during Gang Leader shooting time but was unsuccessful.

Heroine Priyanka Arul Mohan said she knows the secret behind Vikram's Priya sentiment but will not reveal it and embarrass him. This shocked Nani who expressed surprise at Priyanka knowing Vikram's secret though he maintains close relationship with him.
