King Nagarjuna is speaking very high about his mentalist character in Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and is excited with the film’s release on October 13th. Though considered as a sequel to Ohmkar’s surprise hit Raju Gari Gadhi, this second installment became bigger with addition of Nagarjuna and Samantha into lead casting list joined by big banners like PVP and Matinee Entertainments bankrolled behind the screen.
However, director Ohmkar reportedly planned RGG 2 as bi-lingual in Telugu and Tamil. Accordingly, he approached three popular star artists Arjun, Prabhu Deva and Madhavan for playing the mentalist character. In fact, everyone was impressed by the character sketch and Ohmkar’s script but due to main problems with call sheets adjustment, the ball finally rolled into Nagarjuna’s court.
With-in less than an hour narration, Nagarjuna agreed to join RGG 2 team. As we all know, Nag loves to experiment with challenging roles and mentalist is one such which he hasn’t tried before. Bad luck for Arjun, Prabhu Deva and Madhavan made the luck in favor of Nagarjuna.
