Nithya Menon War Against Injustice!

Wonderful actress Nithya Menon is although off the limelight from last few months owing to uninspiring scripts landing on her table, looks like finally she has caught one meaty subject for a multi lingual project titled PRAANA.

Yes, the thriller flick to be helmed by Malayalam director VK Prakash is about an English writer living in a hill station and her waging of war against injustice and intolerance prevailing in our current society. To be made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages, Praana also brings a magnificent crew of most acclaimed cinematographer PC Sreeram, Oscar winning sound designer Resul Pookutty and music composer Louis Banks on board.

‘There will be a thrilling mood throughout the narrative for film. Nithya plays an English writer who focuses on social issues. Script written by Rajesh Jayaraman will technically push the boundaries of Indian film making. Technically, Praana will be the first film in India to have sync surround sound. Resul Pookutty is experimenting with a new technology to capture ambient noises along with dialogues,’ said VK Prakash.
