Varun Tej new movie ‘Kanche’ in Krissh direction is already informed to be a war film set in 1940s backdrop with romance as additive supplement. When it’s a war film, obviously the duties and responsibilities of every Indian citizen and the tough times our Indian army faces in mountainous tracts facing the rival Armies extempore the patriotism. Of course, this kind of subjects related to Indian Army and hostile conditions there in are new to Telugu cinema.
Appreciating director Krissh and hero Varun Tej for this adventurous attempt, the ‘Kanche’ teaser released a while ago is winning the hearts of film critics. Varun Tej looks perfect in soldier attire when he begins to narrate the story as Veera Babu writing a letter to Seetha Garu. The parallel analogy between Love and War is also explained nicely in one sentence, thanks to good writing. There is also a wonderful presentation of war sequences in the teaser.
When entire Nation is celebrating the Independence Day, there is no better occasion than August 15th to offer a clue for audience on what ‘Kanche’ is all about. The dismal show in ‘Mukunda’ is no where felt in Vaun Tej’s body language and Krissh seems to have invested big money on this quasi-commercial subject. All in all, ‘Kanche’ seems to be a gutsy decision from Varun and Krissh set for grand release on October 2.
