Pawan, Rajamouli, Guna - Tollywood Shining

This year of 2013 is proving to be a golden period of Tollywood. Not just entire India, even entire world is looking at us in sheer exclamation with the progress our film makers have made commercially and technically. Let us quote just three movies as sample to justify the statement. They are ‘Atharintiki Daaredi, Bahubali’ and ‘Rudramadevi.’

Pawan Kalyan gave shivers for Bollywood with a 100 Crore film from Telugu and that too a family entertainer away from mass and action elements. ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ may not be a trend set film but for sure rewriting many old book formulas commercially proving the power of Telugu heroes and their stamina of stardom. Next two are technical wonders of ‘Bahubali’ and ‘Rudramadevi’ made by able directors SS Rajamouli and Gunasekhar respectively. Taking up projects of this nature and that too on massive budgets shows the confidence building around technical expertise.
