One More Gang-Rape Heroine!!

Yesterday, it was an attempt by Allani Sreedhar about portraying the fighting spirit of a girl who was gangraped. He thought of casting Charmi as the leading lady and central character in film. Although an official confirmation is awaited, this is one among the first trials to commercialaize a real happening in New Delhi city bus which shook the entire Nation. After Charmi, one more glamorous actress Lakshmi Rai is also excited to play the similar character in Malayalam director GS Venu's next movie.

'The inspirational fight of a 23 year old New Delhi girl who was gangraped in a city bus and then dead in Singapore hopsital has attracted the film industry. Director is planning this movie in four languages to enlighten the women in current society. This will be message oriented along with commercial elements,' says a source closely associated with this film. Lakshmi Rai in this kind of a role will bring the much needed publicity so easily.
