Irumudi Enters 200 Crore Club

Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has delivered a sensational box office turnaround, becoming his first ₹200 crore worldwide grosser. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the emotional family drama has connected with audiences since its August 21 release. The milestone is especially significant after a prolonged phase of inconsistent theatrical results for the Mass Maharaja.
Irumudi reportedly crossed ₹200 crore worldwide within twelve days, while India net collections reached around ₹142.05 crore and overseas gross touched ₹21.50 crore by Day 12. The film’s strong second week performance is clear. Its reported ₹40 crore budget makes the success remarkable commercially.
The film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sai Kumar and Baby Nakshathra alongside Ravi Teja, with G V Prakash Kumar composing the music. Irumudi focuses on fatherhood, redemption and an emotional bond between a troubled father and his daughter. Positive family response, word of mouth and sustained occupancy have helped maintain its momentum.
Ravi Teja’s recent filmography included several underperformers, although Krack and Dhamaka provided major successes during the period. Irumudi has now restored his box office confidence and expanded his commercial reach.
