Rajamouli adding spiritual flavor in SSMB29

SSMB29 is the most awaited project across the world as it happens to be Rajamouli's first after the sensation he created with his magnum opus RRR. For the first time, Rajamouli and Super Star Mahesh Babu are coming together.

Rajamouli already promised a globetrotting experience for movie lovers and Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story revealed that the film is inspired by the Wilbur Smith's novels and has African Jungle backdrop. The film's shooting is in full swing and it features Global Beauty Priyanka Chopra as the female lead and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in a powerful role.

In the meantime, reports are coming that the film has a spiritual and mythological flavor. Inside talk is the film revolves around the holy city of Kashi and since it is difficult to shoot in the city the makers are recreating Kashi in Hyderabad.

The scenes featuring Kashi will play a pivotal role in driving the story forward. The music for the film is tuned by Oscar winner Keeravani. The film is slated for release in two parts and the first part is up for 2026 and second part for 2027.
