Sreeleela not the reason for Dhamaka success

Mass Raja Ravi Teja's Dhamaka despite the mixed talk and negative reviews turned out to be a superhit by grossing Rs 100crs at the box office. During that time, many felt that Sreeleela's glamor and dances played an important role in turning Dhamaka into a great hit.

In the midst of all this, when writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada was told the same, he expressed his surprise. He went on to question whether heroine's dances and glamor will help the film turnout to be a hit.

He even raised the point questioning Sreeleela after Dhamaka, went on to star in many films and even in them she looked more gorgeous and came up with breathtaking dance moves but all those did not turnout to be hits.He said for any film to become a hit, story plays an important role. He added that songs will be for just 20 minutes and if 20 minutes gives entertainment, the film will not be a hit and added that only if the remaining 2 hours is engaging, the film will get a good result.

He added that good story should drive the film and heroine's glamor and dances will add additional values but films will not be a hit on heroines glamor and dances. He added that Dhamaka had entertaining elements and as Ravi Teja liked his comedy timing and asked for few such scenes, he added them and those worked out well.
