Sampath Nandi - Promising Commercial Director

Sampath Nandi is known for making successful commercial potboilers. His narrative style blending in all crowd pleasing elements with emotions impresses audience. He also produced films giving opportunity to new talent. Today, June 20 Sampath Nandi is celebrating his birthday.

Sampath Nandi assisted popular writer Posani Krishna Murali before turning into a Director. With Varun Sandesh and Nisha Aggarwal starrer Emaindi Ee Vela, Sampath Nandi debuted as a director. The film become a sleeper hit. Then for his second film itself he got big offer with Ram Charan. He made Racha with Charan and Tamannaah in lead roles as a powerful entertainer. The film clicked with masses and fans becoming a blockbuster. 

Then Sampath made Bengal Tiger with Ravi Teja and Tamannaah. The film too raked in profits at the box-office. Later he directed Gautam Nanda with Gopichand in a dual role. He won accolades for making the film in a lavish manner. He directed his next too with Gopichand and Tamannaah titled Seetimaarr. The film based on kabaddi sport faced pandemic and released in 2021 becoming a commercial success.

Sampath Nandi besides writing and directing his own films, he also produced films with other directors with his stories. His first production venture was Galipatam starring Aadhi Saikumar introducing Naveen Gandhi as director. Then he produced Paper Boy introducing Santosh Sobhan as lead actor in Jayashankarr's direction. He also provided stories for Odela Railway station and Black Rose. His next productions include, Odela 2 with Tamannaah in lead role and Simmba starring Jagapathi Babu in a lead role which deals with environmental issues.
