Varun Tej gets going for Matka

After facing recent setbacks with the underperformance of his last few projects, Mega Prince Varun Tej is gearing up for a comeback with "Matka," a pan-Indian drama directed by Karuna Kumar.  

The film has officially commenced shooting, with Varun Tej and a talented cast joining forces on set. The actor took to social media to express his enthusiasm, stating, "Back on set after 175 days with new energies and aspirations, ready to bring the retro magic of 'Matka' to life!" He accompanied the post with a picture holding a vintage telephone, hinting at the film's unique setting.

Mega fans are eagerly awaiting Varun Tej's return to the silver screen, hoping "Matka" will mark a resurgence in his career. The film boasts a strong supporting cast, featuring Norah Fatehi and Meenakshi Chowdary as the female leads. G V Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose the music, adding another layer of excitement to the project. Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments are jointly producing this ambitious venture.
