Koratala Siva - Director Of Mass Blockbusters With A Class Touch

Koratala Siva, the writer turned director has made a blockbuster directorial debut and delivered consecutive Superhits. He has a unique style of narrating mass commercial potboilers in a classy manner blending with a social message. Koratala's narrative style strides with his protagonist having firm opinions and personality which were later turned into bigger goals. His strong writing skills reflect in his films.

Koratala Siva started his career working for popular writer Posani Krishna Murali who is also his relative. After working for numerous films with Posani, Koratala became dialogue writer for films like Bhadra, Okkadunnadu, Munna, Brindavanam, Oosaravelli and he also provided stories for films like Simha and Girlfriend. 

In 2013, Koratala turned director with Prabhas starrer Mirchi and delivered a biggest hit in Prabhas's career with his first film as a director itself. Then he made Srimanthudu with Mahesh which has became biggest hit in Mahesh's career. His third film Janatha Garage with NTR became blockbuster and emerged as highest grosser in NTR's films. As his fourth directorial Koratala Siva collaborated again with Mahesh for Bharat Ane Nenu. The film discussing several socio political issues resulted in Blockbuster. 

Koratala Siva faced his first set back in his career with Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan starrer Acharya. As he has also been involved in business of the film, he faced more heat for its failure. Now, he is busy in making a powerful comeback with NTR starrer Devara which is being made in two parts. He is making it on a lavish scale at a pan India level. The first part, Devara Part 1 is slated to release on  27th September, 2024.
