OG To Release As Summer Special

Powerstar turned JanaSena chief who has won in recent elections and sworn in as a minister is currently busy with his political affiliations. His ongoing projects needed to wait for more time to cross the finish line. Among his films, 'Og' enjoys super positive buzz among his fans with its stylish and intense content. 

Makers have earlier announced 'Og' release date as 27th September, 2024. But, with the amount of th shoot remains, the film has been moved out of the announced date. The confirmation of another biggie, 'Devara: Part 1' confirms the postponement of 'Og'. But, as per inside reports, the reason behind Og moving out from this year is its OTT deal.

Og has locked OTT deal with Netflix for a huge amount of Rs 90 Crores. With the delay of shoots, it became uncertain of 'Og' s release this year, Netflix's calender has been full this year. 

Netflix has made it clear to the team that it has many releases this year. So, the team would eventually look for another release date. 

It is also believed that the film may release in March last weekend of next year. This will be a great time as the film gets the summer advantage with continuous holidays. Og has Priyanka Mohan as female lead with Emraan Hashmi as antagonist. Directed by Sujeeth while backed by Danayya DVV.
