Aditi Rao throws light on relationship with Siddharth. Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth's engagement announcement via social media a few months ago stirred excitement among their fans. Now, Aditi sheds light on their relationship, expressing how being with Siddharth has reinforced her belief in the essence of love - shared laughter.
In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday. In, Aditi shared, “I wouldn’t say [the relationship] changed [me as a person] but it’s reinforced my belief that love is laughing together. And, with the two of us, it’s about being literally like children. So, love, and respect is the most important thing.”
Their journey began nearly two years ago, and since then, they've been inseparable. While they aren't concealing their relationship, they value their privacy. Aditi elaborated that the decision to announce their engagement was influenced by both their parents, who hold privacy in high regard.
“I believe in the sanctity of certain things. It’s natural that rumors started. We decided to put it out because both parents were involved, who are also way more private than we are. A lot of calls were coming in, so we said okay ‘let’s put it so that people are not confused’. We thought that was the responsible thing to do at that point,” she shared.
Aditi further emphasized her gratitude for the overwhelming love and blessings they've received, despite their desire for privacy. She views it as a privilege to be in a position where she can maintain her privacy while receiving such heartfelt support from fans.
Reflecting on the evolving trend of celebrities sharing glimpses of their personal lives on social media, Aditi remarked, “I think people realize that they [celebs] are human beings. Why should we be tiptoeing around? I believe that everybody has a personal life and what they want to keep private is up to them, and what they want to tell they should be able to tell.”
Recently, Aditi Rao Hydari captivated audiences with her portrayal of Bibbojaan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’.
