Premalu Sequel Shoot Begins

Malayalam blockbuster rom-com ‘Premalu’ has created sensation in all South languages. Apart from Malayalam, the film got dubbed into Telugu and Tamil languages and repeated the same success. Team has announced the sequel to 'Premalu' last month which is to be released simultaneously in multiple languages. Now, the filming has officially begun. 

‘Premalu’ Starring Mamita Baiju, Naslen Gafoor, Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeet Pratap, and Shyam Mohan, the film was directed by Girish AD and produced by Fahad Fazil. Despite opening with a modest budget of only three crores, ‘Premalu’ went on to shatter box office collecting Rs 130+ Crores globally. 

'Premalu’ earned immense popularity in Telugu and Tamil languages too. This led the makers to announce the sequel in Telugu and Tamil too. It seems the makers are wasting no time in bringing the sequel to life. Lead actress Mamita Baiju recently shared a photo on social media, confirming that filming for ‘Premalu 2’ has commenced.

While details about the plot and other aspects of the sequel are still under wraps, the original film's charm and the return of the lead cast promise another entertaining rom-com experience. The film is being planned to release on 28th February, 2025.
