It is known that Prabhas's Kalki 2898 AD which boasts cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone is being made on a huge scale as Magnum Opus, infact the most costliest film ever made on Indian screen. Director Nag Ashwin is said to came up with a sci-fi subject which has a very strong mythological connection. The film shuffles between ancient past and far future. Team has announced that yesteryear Visionary Director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is providing inputs for the film.
Singeetham too in his interview shared that he has contributed in the script. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao has gained expertise in mythological movies. He was involved in making iconic films like ‘Mayabazaar’ and ‘Sri Krisharjuna Yuddham’. He made 'Sri Krishnarjuna Vijayam’ with Nandamuri Balakrishna besides tasting success with his folklore drama ‘Bhairava Dweepam’.
Now, a clear picture has emerged about the role of Singeetham in Kalki 2898 AD. It is being circulated that Singeetham has readied a script based on Lord Sri Krishna to make in on a lavish scale. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao has reportedly shared part of his mythological script with the magnum opus ‘Kalki 2898AD’ makers. When the makers of ‘Kalki’ who are making a sci-fi thriller around Lord Krishna and also mention his last avatar ‘Kalki'. They approached Singeetham, who readily agreed to share most of his script on the glory of Lord Krishna.
Although there are reports that Singetham was sharing inputs and was a kind of mentor, he has given up his film for the sake of magnum opus ‘Kalki 2898 AD'. The much-awaited Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898AD’ is set for release on June 27 and the anticipation raises to see how Lord Krishna has been adapted to the new-age entertainer.
