Geethanjali Malli Vachindi To Stream On OTT From May 8

Anjali starrer horror comedy Geethanjali Malli Vachindi which is a sequel to Superhit Geethanjali was released in theatres last month. The film opened to mixed reviews failed to attract audience at the boxoffice ended up as a flop. Now the film is all set to have its OTT premiere. Aha secred its digital streaming rights. 

As per lastest announcement from Aha, the film will be available for streaming on the OTT platform starting from May 8, 2024. Directed by Shiva Thurlapati, the horror comedy features Anjali, Shakalaka Shankar, Satyam Rajesh and Srinivasa Reddy in pivotal roles. Interestingly, the movie also marked the 50th film in Anjali’s acting career.  

Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Shiva Thurlapati, the horror film is the sequel to Anjali’s 2014 film Geethanjali. The movie revolves around Sreenu, Athreya, and Arudra who receive an offer to produce a film, with Sreenu as the director and Satya as the lead. They start filming at Sangeeth Mahal, a haunted bungalow given by Vishnu.

However, when they encounter ghosts, they mistake them for method actors. Eventually, the ghosts disrupt their filming, which prompts the team to confront Vishnu, who reveals his hidden motives. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
