Kannada film, 777 Charlie starring Rakshit Shetty became a boxoffice success in multiple languages for its heartwarming portrayal of emotions between a line factory worker and his pup. Directed by Kiranraj, 777 Charlie, was released in 2022, receiving an overwhelming response from audiences and celebrities alike. Besides garnering a lot of love from fans, the film also won the Best Kannada Film Award at the prestigious 69th National Film Awards.

After winning several hearts in India, the story of Dharma and Charlie will now reach the Japanese audience in the coming days. According to reports, 777 Charlie will be released across theatres in Japan on June 28, 2024. The film will be dubbed in Japanese. We are familiar about how big successes Baahubali and RRR films turned out to be in Japan.

This will mark another milestone for the South Indian film industry. Earlier, Kannada films, Prashanth Neel’s KGF films and Rishab Shetty’s Kantara were also released in Japan, and they received a lot of love from the audiences there.  777 Charlie, features Rakshit Shetty and the dog Charlie in the lead roles alongside others like Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B Shetty, Danish Sait, and others.

Rakshit Shetty was recently seen in Saptha Saagaraalu Dhaati Side A & Side B. He will be next seen in the film Richard Anthony, all set to play the titular role. The film will serve both as a prequel and a sequel to his 2014 directorial debut film, Ulidavaru Kandanthe.
