Alia Bhatt Done Shooting Her Upcoming Film Jigra

Alia Bhatt has wrapped up shooting for her next film Jigra. She took to her Instagram account to post new pictures with her co-star Vedang Raina, to share the news. Alia and Vedang were seen in a light and candid mood as they sat beside each other and smiled. Jigra will hit hit the screens on 27th September this year.

Alia and Vedang played the roles of siblings in the film.  Jigra was announced last year in September. The announcement video teased that the film is a tale of a sister's love for her brother and how she would do anything to protect him. 

In Jigra. Alia is not just playing the lead but also producing it. Jigra is directed by Vasan Bala and is produced by Karan Johar. Alia was last seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. 

Apart from Jigra, she has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War and Jee Le Zaraa in the pipeline. Meawhile, Jigra marks the second film of Vedang, who debuted last year with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies.
