A distributor notes that ‘Bhimaa’, set to release on March 8, is a make-or-break film for Gopichand, whose recent films have performed poorly and impacted his market in Telugu cinema.

Previously, Gopichand’s movies were in high demand in Hindi markets, but the situation has changed. While his films were once sold for Rs 10 to 12 crores in the Hindi market, there are currently no buyers at those rates. Producers may fetch around Rs 5 to 6 crore per film if they promote them as unique action films.

Despite his good physique and ability to portray anger-driven roles with ease, Gopichand has faced challenges in balancing action roles with light-hearted movies. It is suggested that he should focus on action adventures to regain his successful streak.

In addition to ‘Bhimaa’, Gopichand is working on a film with director Srinu Vaitla, showcasing his comedic skills and featuring in an upcoming action entertainer. However, this project has faced budgetary issues due to high remunerations and production costs, posing a potential risk.
